Body Image & Eating Concerns

Understanding and accepting your body can take time.

Your relationship with food and your body can feel deeply personal. When it is strained, it can impact nearly every area of life.

Struggles with body image or disordered eating often go far beyond food itself, reflecting deeper experiences such as stress, anxiety, low self-worth, trauma, or a need for control during overwhelming times. LiveWell counselors provide a safe space to help you explore these challenges.

You may find yourself frequently thinking about your body; comparing yourself to what you see on social media; dissatisfied with your appearance; or stuck in cycles of restriction, overeating, or compensatory behaviors. For some, eating concerns are visible and disruptive; for others, they are subtle, but still carry significant emotional weight.

No matter where you fall on the spectrum, your experience is valid and deserving of care.

In therapy, we focus on helping you better understand the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that contribute to your relationship with food and body image. Rather than focusing solely on behavior change, we also explore the underlying beliefs and experiences that may be shaping how you see yourself.

Our goal is to support healing from the inside out.

Healing your relationship with food and your body is not about achieving perfection, it’s about finding freedom and a sense of peace within yourself.

With the right support, change is possible, and we would love to help you.
