Brady Prescott was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. She graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s in Counseling. Brady holds licensure in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern. She is supervised by Wib Newton, who obtained a Texas state licensure in Professional Counseling as well as Family and Marriage Therapy.
Brady has a passion for working with children and adolescents. Her desire is to create safe relationships where clients can express issues, feelings, and emotional responses to life experiences. She individualizes these responses to then help the client discover healthy ways of releasing, healing, and choosing a healthier, happier approach to life. Aspects of her counseling utilize art, music, creativity, and nature. She has training in trauma-informed care, crisis and intervention prevention, choice theory, reality therapy, suicide, opioid, behavioral learning, abuse, adventure, arts, and techniques in play therapy.
Outside of helping others, Brady loves being active in her church, being active outdoors, playing with her two “fur babies” (Milo and Nala), having game nights, traveling, and working out. Her positive energy and fun-loving personality is contagious and pours into her therapeutic techniques.
